Aiden is a brave young boy that was diagnosed with Hunter Syndrome and in his honor Help Extinguish Hunter Syndrome is hosting our 7th Friends of Aiden 5K. Unfortunately, Hunter Syndrome comes with a large host of symptoms that can shorten a person’s life. There is no cure.
The Friends of Aiden 5K Walk/Run is a fund raising event that has been specifically created to raise awareness about MPS II or Hunter Syndrome, to raise funds to help support medical research in hopes of finding a cure, and to support families facing the day-to-day challenges of Hunter Syndrome.
Your support is one of the only avenues towards a cure. Affecting only approximately 500 individuals in the United States; very little funding comes from other sources other than private donations. Please consider our cause and Help us Extinguish Hunter Syndrome!
